NEON Photo Shoot Highlights - Round 2

I have completely fallen in love with the NEON photo shoot style lately. I first started working with gel lighting in 2008, but it didn’t quite stick. I finally picked it back up 10 years later and did some cool stuff with my clients, but still wasn’t managing to capture the look I had in my head. Last February’s NEON special in Nashville allowed me to experiment even more (you can see the highlights from those shoots here), and now I’m feeling very confident about working with color gels in photography.

These most recent client portraits were taken outdoors in November. Every portrait session I’ve done since March of 2020 has been outside due to precautions around the pandemic. I even built an outdoor studio to do my photo shoots, which you can see in all of my recent blog posts.
