Nikki Rising from the Underworld | Creative Portraits in Denver

Sooooo....This is some of my favorite work ever. I did this shoot earlier this year in Denver, and I’m so excited to share the full set with you now.

When Nikki first contacted me about doing a portrait session, she told me that she wanted ME to create something that I hadn't done before, a unique boudoir photoshoot experience in Denver. She wanted me to experiment, and I was absolutely thrilled to do it.

We brought in some Zodiac elements (it was her birthday the day before the shoot!), and decided to follow a "Rising" theme, from the underworld back to the surface of the earth. This was not going to be my typical boudoir session…

We rented a studio on Peerspace and used their white seamless backdrop along with a collection of gorgeous real plants to fill in the scene. I'm really proud of the way these turned out, and Nikki was beyond pleased.

With hair by Lauren Rennells and makeup by Cydney Staples Owens, the look pulled together beautifully and we made some stunning, unique art together. ❤️‍🔥
